Meet the heart of the story

Sadie Rosemond

She has always believed there is more to life than what the eye can see. Now the world beyond the concrete door is asking her to prove it.

Sadie is an artist, a dreamer, and a woman determined to defend beauty and the possibility of a happy ending—even while fear and ordinary life press hard against everything she loves.

When an impossible bargain draws her across the threshold, Sadie does not arrive as a fearless hero. She arrives carrying questions, wounds, fierce hope, and the relationships that have shaped her. The world she enters will make those inner battles visible—and ask what she is willing to make of the story she has been given.

Walk beside Sadie as fantasy becomes personal, belief becomes a choice, and the way home may require becoming someone new.
Begin Sadie’s journey

Inside the Concrete Door

A bargain. A crossing.
A world beyond belief.

Artist and dreamer Sadie Rosemond has spent her life defending beauty, imagination, and the possibility of happily ever after—even as ordinary reality presses hard against her marriage and her hope.

When a mysterious bargain pulls Sadie across an impossible threshold and into a vivid fairy-tale world, everything she believes is put to the test. To find her way, she must confront the unseen battles within the heart, the power fear holds over us, and what it truly means to make a different ending.

Make: Inside the Concrete Door begins an imaginative three-book journey where fantasy, spirituality, love, and lived experience meet.

Sheri Jo Posselt

Sheri Jo Posselt is a professional artist and illustrator who has written poems and stories throughout her life behind the scenes of her art. She owns Sincere Harmony, her studio established in 1997, and has been featured on television alongside her work.

A self-taught artist with experience across business, art, and design, Sheri Jo became a Business Painting Instructor for Northeast Wisconsin Technical College. Her intuitive painting practice—creating imagery while a person watches—opened another dimension in her work that she describes as “playing Pictionary with Angels.”

Sheri Jo is married to her high-school sweetheart. Together they have three children and several grandchildren. Make brings her visual imagination, spiritual inquiry, and lifelong storytelling together as the opening book of The Concrete Door series.
